Nutrition and Fitness Disclaimer

Last updated 20 September 2026

Harmony Health provides general wellness and nutrition information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor, registered dietitian, physiotherapist or other qualified professional.

Everything numeric here is an estimate

  • Calorie and macronutrient targets are calculated from the Mifflin-St Jeor resting energy equation and standard activity multipliers. Individual needs vary widely.
  • Body-fat percentages derived from height, weight and age are population estimates, not measurements. Only a clinical method such as DEXA measures body composition.
  • Energy burned during activity is approximate. Treat it as a rough guide, never an exact figure.
  • Food values come from a general ingredient library and from what you enter. Real portions and products differ.

Where you enter a measured value, such as a body-fat reading from a clinic, Harmony Health records it separately from estimates so you can tell them apart.

Talk to a professional first if

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have a heart, kidney, liver, metabolic or digestive condition, or diabetes.
  • You take prescription medication that diet or exercise could affect.
  • You have or have had an eating disorder or disordered eating.
  • You are under 18, or planning a large change in body weight.

Training safely

Exercise carries a risk of injury. Start conservatively, learn each movement before adding load, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. Seek urgent medical attention for symptoms that concern you.

No medical claims

Harmony Health is not clinically validated and is not approved or endorsed by any medical body. We make no claim that using it treats, prevents or cures any condition.

If you are in a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service immediately.
